Dave Cash is a Personal Trainer and Movement Specialist who has been coaching people since 2008. He helps people understand their bodies through emotional integration, breathing, and biomechanics. His training philosophy centers around authentic human movement and helping people find authenticity in everything they do.
Dave has studied extensively with the Postural Restoration Institute and is also certified in Functional Range Conditioning, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability, Nuero-Kinetic Therapy, Immaculate Dissection, Z-Health, the Genius of Flexibility, Tai Chi for Rehabilitation, and Qi Gong (through his teacher Robert Peng)
Dave has also studied spirituality, emotional integration, embodiment, and non dual inquiry with his teachers Byron Katie, Matt Kahn, Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, Wim Hof and Scott Kiloby (he is certified in the Kiloby Inquiries). He is a meditation and inquiry teacher, and a coach in somatic integration for chronic pain and body image issues.
Dave grew up on the Upper West Side of NYC and played basketball in Highschool. He then went on to the University of Michigan where he was part of the boxing club. Besides boxing and basketball, Dave has been practicing Yoga and Qi Gong for more than a decade.
Dave was a religious studies major at the University of Michigan and went on to be a Preschool Teacher for two years after college while he studied acting at the William Esper Studio (where he met his wife Tatiana). He has written and performed in an off broadway play, “Dickhead” and is now working on a novel.
